Golden Age comes first chronologically.

and yeah, the golden age begins with the band of Gambino finding Guts as a baby, lying down besides his mother corpse... yeah, pretty nice way to begin a story, I know.

so you could read the golden age first since the revelation up to the end of the black swordsman arc could spoil your enjoyments of the golden age arc a little. I think it wouldn't but it's up to you.

I'm liking this arc much better than the Black Swordsman one. I suppose it's because we see who Guts was before he became the supreme edgelord.

Also SSJ2, what's the cronological order of the Sagas? When will I know the Golden Age is over and I need to go back to the Swordsman?

I was literally about to mention that to you lol. If you are reading on Mangasee, the Golden Age ends after chapter 94. Then you skip back to the Black Swordsman arc, complete that, and move to chapter 95. The rest is chronologically correct.

Golden Age arc is regarded by many people as one of the best arcs in anime/manga. It's definitely my favourite of all time.

Damn dude I thought 1-16 was the Swordsman and the other 1 and beyond was the Golden Arc and others.

So it doesn't start with Guts already on the Band of the Falcon? That's getting confusing...

Yea idk why they labelled Chapter 1 like that. Just pretend chapter 9 on mangasee is chapter 1. What I said before about chapter 94 being the end of Golden Age is still true.

Sorry for the confusion. I should have looked into it, but it was a logical assumption to think Chapter 1 was the start of Golden Age.
