Ghurd likely knows who Zarbon is, and how powerful he is, so Ghurd would likely paralyze Zarbon right away before he even gets a chance to do anything. From there, it's game over.

Honestly, I can't see Gurd being in the Ginyu force if he can't take out the likes of someone like Zarbon who is at a lower status in the Freeza empire. Gurd outta take this if he doesn't screw around in the beginning and uses his paralysis technique.

Reacoom said Gurd never uses telekinesis, so I wouldn't be so sure he'd just throw it out like that. We also know one of the reasons why Gohan and Krillin was stopped was because they let their guard down while stupidly attacking Gurd directly.

If Zarbon has a chance of getting an attack off, Gurd is done. He's also a lot stronger than Gohan and Krillin, so it might be a Chaozu/Nappa situation.

Reacoom said that because Guldo likely hasn't fought anyone strong enough to warrant him using telekinesis. Guldo knew Vegeta so he probably has knowledge on Zarbon as well. For Gohan and Kuririn however he had no knowledge on and going off the fact that they are a kid and runt he underestimated them but with Zarbon he knows how powerful he is and would go for the kill as soon as possible.

Good point. However, it could still be a Chaozu/Nappa outcome where the attack wouldn't work on Zarbon. He is way stronger than both Gohan and Krillin, so it's a strong possibility.

I think he'd have to be able paralyze Monster Zarbon level opponents for him to even be considered as a useful member of the Ginyu Force. If he can't even freeze powers that Recoome and co. can eat for breakfast, than what use is he really? At least, that's how I see it.

There's no real way to determine his value on the team, imo. He could simply be effective by stopping time and throwing off the enemy. I think you can look at it from various angles. It's like when some say Pui-Pui has to be >Freeza and Cold because Bobbidi didn't convert them.

That alone tells me he's not accustomed to dealing with Zarbon level beings because then 10k level beings alone wouldn't be enough to make him piss himself. The fact that it was used when he lost the ability to stop time tells me he's mainly stopping time moreso than doing anything else. In all likelihood, the others would be dealing with someone on Zarbon's level.

I agree. He should be able to take out Zarbon/Dodoria level fighters with ease with his techniques. There's a reason he is the Ginyu Force. I feel that he can take out opponents that Monster Zarbon wouldn't win against. I think his telekinesis can be effective against opponents all the way up to even 30k imo.

I highly doubt that they would be expecting to fight fighters over 10k considering it's probably rare in the universe, which would justify Gurd being taken off guard by their strength. But it was practically game over for Gohan and Kuririn when Gurd go serious.

Gurd's ability to stop time already gives him enough reason to be on the team. He's teamed with 4 other ridiculously powerful people.

By Gurd's own admission, it takes too much power to attack while stopping time. Sounds like he doesn't really attack when stopping time. It's also stated that he never uses telekinesis.

Based on that alone, he's not fighting anyone at 10k alone or Zarbon level without some sort of help. He has no reason to fight alone when he has others to fight with him.

Vegeta blamed Gohan/Krillin when they were paralyzed, which means that a skilled fighter who has knowledge of this trick
can dodge it. The reason Gurd got into Ginyu Forces is because his abilities make him a deadly asset in a team. Alone, he
cannot beat anyone. Zarbon wins. Zombies.
