vegeta has lived a good life for some-time now i think. is that time to forgive him now? a clean slate? if u can & want to answer.

he committed many atrocities before of-course, but he has also done some good after that i think, so wot u say? if u can & want to.

in real-life some1 with that level of atrocities maybe not (i don't knw), but in the series maybe (i don't knw).

plz answer, if u can & want to.

By DB's cosmological standard of morality, him being revived from the wish in the Boo Arc is proof that he did.

By real life judicial systems though, no amount of penance would be seen as acceptable for that level of genocide. Even looking at things from the perspective of most spiritual and religious institutes, his level of crimes would still necessitate the death penalty even should he fully repent.

As for my more personal take on his actions, he sort of made up for it in his actions as Boo had in the past killed far more people than Vegeta ever did going by Shin's word and certainly would have had Vegeta not been an integral part in stopping him. His actions on Namek are also the more easier of his heinous crimes to forgive when death is a temporary thing in Dragon Ball and heaven's a pretty good deal when knowing it exists. In-universe, I'd say he's made up for his past mistakes, but wouldn't argue against anyone with a personal beef against him wanting vengeance.

By the standards of Dragon Ball, in which death is pretty much a slap on the wrist, I'd say that Vegeta has made up for his actions by the time of Boo arc. However, by real life standards, Vegeta certainly wouldn't get to just live happily ever after with his wife and children after pretty much genociding countless populations on a planetary scale. Anyone who'd want to kill him to get revenge would be perfectly justified to do so.

By the modern lens we use to justify good and evil, no, Vegeta would certainly be going to Hell or face public execution like Saddam Hussein. But using the standards of good guys and bad guys put forth by most fiction that portrays good and evil in a very black and white way, like DBZ or Superman comics, then yes, Vegeta has atoned. Purely by the numbers, he's helped save more people than he's ever killed. That's usually enough for a villain to turn face in fantasy and fiction and have it stick.

That, and his willingness to wish back the U6 Saiyans should he have one the tournament of power shows that he does value life and was willing to revive a whole planet/universe because of unselfish motivations.
