Have our DB sections improved?

Personally I think they have. Both surveys we conducted had many replies saying that our DB sections needed improvement. We've now got 30% of all posts in that section which is an improvement, and there are many more discussions going on now compared to before. What do you think?

Agreed. Since activity is more steady, I'll try to get back on the advertising front. I just need to think of where to advertise to. YouTube would be easy prey, but you can't post URLs in comments.

There's a hackway to get a google.com site like making a google sites account and then posting your link there:

Sure, anybody can argue about any point whatsoever... without evidence, but it's undeniably harder to do so with actual evidence.

As long as members can use the warn system responsibly and moderators do their job, I don't see a problem with having an open-minded discussion system. Your way is way too elitist.

Having open minded discussions is irrelevant in the face of an actual debate, where evidence is required to support your claim. Without actual evidence, you're merely speculating and/or arguing for the sake of arguing.

You do realize that having no statements or evidence to support your argument is never as direct as as the evidence on the opposing side. If you were to apply your own standards to your own evidence, you'd destroy your very position.

The problem is even when people are given direct statements, people are still not willing to accept them. As they've just demonstrated in the Freeza > Base Saiyan thread. So the real issue isn't weak evidence or a lack of evidence, it's your guy's obstinate opinion that resorts to merry-go-round arguments to avoid reaching a conclusion and having to acknowledge being wrong.

I don't necessarily disagree with your approach, but there should be way less name-calling and saying "not gonna listen you because of your views". I fucking hate when people act like that, which is showing an elitist attitude.
