I also think you're taking a 1.13x gap as too big in consideration.
If piccolo was around 1,100,00 in his weighted namek state. Frieza powered up (if 1.13x stronger) would be slightly below 1,300,000

So how big is the gap between Piccolo and Freeza? And either way a 1.13x gap imo, is pretty much a stomp. The weaker opponent can barely keep up and is getting outclassed pretty severely.

Piccolo was overwhelmed. He had to take off his weights.
The gap in percentage if thats what you are asking is about

Which is 12%. It seems like enough of a gap for a fight to go on one man's side. I think a stomp gap would have to be near 20% or starting from 1.17x. However that can be dissmissed as merely personal preference.

No I was talking about the first round of their encounter.

The second round of their encounter should be a bit more than 1.13, I think that's closer to 1.18 - 1.2 range or so.

I think Piccolo was well on his way to getting stomped badly. He took a ton of damage, was getting hurt very badly all by a non serious Freeza. That gap should honestly be bigger. 1.25-1.33x range.

Not only is the damage serious, the speed advantage, Freeza is not serious at all and easily doing this to Piccolo.

Piccolo vs Freeza Round 2 is a stomp gap for me. Piccolo would be finished rather quickly had that continued to go on.


Numerically I'd have it something like this....


Freeza 95-97
Piccolo 100
Freeza ( Powered Up ) 125-130

I mean, doesn't it sort of seem like Vegeta vs Goku KKx3? Reecome vs Vegeta and so on?

Personally. I think i the gap between super buu and gotenks was more so around the second round so i assumed that..
The first round can be just a bit under 10% in gaps.

Nah, the other two were a bit different. Vegeta in both situations has trouble recovering. Piccolo was more stable against frieza.

Dodoria got absolutely murked by Vegeta with a mere 1.09x gap if you go by the former's 22,000 Daizenshuu power level, although it did appear that Vegeta used effort to hold Dodoria's arms back and to deliver the finishing chi blast. Zarbon at 23,000, a mere 1.04x gap, was getting owned in close quarters, and had his big blast deflected (with a lot of visible effort on Vegeta's part, mind you).

Fighter A being 91% of Fighter B = stomp with little effort?
Fighter A being 95% of Fighter B = stomp with moderate effort?

Even if you lowball the two stooges, giving Dodoria 19,000 and Zarbon 21,000, that's still 1.26x/79% and 1.14x/87% respectively. Most of you probably have ~90% being Cell V Goku status, and ~85% being distant rival status.

If I were to follow those two examples, I'd put Boo around 94-95% of Gotenks.

Super Buu's bad showing in the second round could be because of him being mentally weak and desperate. He is on the losing end for sure, but it didn't seem as bad before. Super Buu is 93% of him or so imo...

I think diaz numbers are trash.
The other ones you mentioned are generally more accepted i guess

You also have to look at the fact that gotenks was leaning more towards ending the fight. He knew he was running out of time. So he stopped using all his moves and got to the cut chase.

I don't think Gotenks was ever really trying to actively end the fight. He's kind of moseying around, letting Buu get things off on him and then showing Buu up by outdoing his own move, lands a combo on a weakened Buu and set up for the finish.

Gotenks blast seemed to hurt him pretty badly, unless he was putting on a show of course. Seemed a bit premature for Buu to be on the ropes don't you think?

Now Gohan vs Buu, holy crap that's a big gap. He is upchucking Buu left and right.

I think from the point he created the crater and made his statement about only being able to use the form for five minutes, telling buu to come out quick. He was more inclined towards ending it which would make more sense that way. Actually he WAS about to "end" it he said so himself but the second before he could use his khh he went back to base form.
When it comes to gohan v buu i like to put it near 1.5x but it could be much lower than that if one pleased.

88-90% IMO. I mean Gotenks is stronger.
