How far above SSJ Vegeta was Android 18?

We know it generally had to be huge if Piccolo is comparable to the Androids. Piccolo's power-up alone knocked Vegeta right out of Super Saiyan.

I think she held back greatly, which fits in with her rivaling weighted Piccolo who significantly exceeds Vegeta. This also would explain their confidence in destroying an improved Vegeta and Trunks when they let them live.

Holding back =\= suppressing though, no? I don't see why she couldn't do to Vegeya what she did with a mere 1.2x lead, let alone a one shot gap like 1.4x. I agree that she was holding back for sure though.

I'm not sure if it's akin to suppression, but Future #17 was able to lower his performance to below 50% against Gohan. Perhaps Gero has done test drives on the cyborgs that allow them to mimic suppression to some degree?

Do the Androids ever suppress? I think they just fight at whatever level they want.

Vegeta punches her in the gut and doesn't move her, as well as blast her with a Big Bang Attack in a prone position and she totally ignores it. I think there's a huge difference.

Well, I mean that they can precisely gauge the effort they use against their opponents moreso than they actually suppress. I don't think they have any control over the infinite energy doohickey they have inside their bodies, but can hold back with better efficiency than non-suppressed organic beings.

I don't think she really went all out. Trunks and the others comment that Vegeta was fighting her evenly before he wore out, but it's well established afterward that #18 is definitely the stronger of the two (even in the Boo arc).

I'm not really sure to be honest. Some of her facial expressions indicate that she is just enjoying herself. I recall comparing her facial expressions from her battle with Vegeta, and her battle with the kids, and she looked a lot more serious against the kids.

Tough to say what the gap is then. I still find it limited, since I only have Kamiccolo 2x Piccolo, and Piccolo well below Vegeta pre-fusion. I wouldn't go past 1.4x personally, though that's probably sufficient, no?
