Why didn't you buy the DragonBoxes for the series? Were they already sold-out, or did you just want the movies one, because you preferred the movies?

They were sold out, yeah. Plus there's no need to buy the series dragon boxes when I can just torrent the episodes online, and they're like 4x longer than the manga due to the fillers....

True, but you can do that with the movies now, too.

I personally would have preferred the series, especially the first DragonBall series. The movies just aren't the same.

That's true, they basically copied the entire series with usually slightly different set-up/scenario, but were way shorter.

When I was way pickier I used to hate most of the movies, but now I really only hate Movie 4 (suraggu) and the Burori movies for bringing the fucker back twice lol

Metal-Coola comes close though because of the absolutely retarded way they got rid of the 1000 coolas army

I also can't stand the movies, but I did like Movie 4 for some reason (relatively talking). I know that was very close to the Piccolo-Daimao Saga, but a lot of the movies were cheap rip-offs, so that didn't bother me.

What was also dumb as hell in M4 was that the title was fucking called Super Saiyan Son Goku and all he did in the "SSJ" form was beat up Suraggu for like 4 minutes and then go back to getting his ass kicked by Slug in base....
