And Hmmmmmm i think it's more hang ups of the viewer then the artist.
I believe if an artist is truly happy & comfortable with the work they're doing then i think there's no shame at all.
At least from the artists themselves.
The viewing public on the other hand i think only enjoys, understands, & tolerates what appeals to their particular senses of reasonability & acceptance, anything else is nonsense based on assumptions.
Though i still would love to read the thoughts of someone from japan, actually a few japanese people & japanese artists & what they think & how they really see it themselves.
