I dunno if anyone's picked up but Chi-Chi and Yajirobe seem to have really high potential... at least compared to the other humans.
Chi-Chi
In her first appearance, she seemed like an ordinary 12 year old girl but she was able not only outrun a T-rex (their running speed is estimated up to 18 - 25 mph) she was also able to throw a boomerang blade with enough force to behead said T-rex and return right back to her while barely noticing despite being scared (she didn't have her eyes open) then caught it before it hit the ground. This showing shocks Yamcha and Puar then she surprises Yamcha with her helmet beam despite openly declaring she'll zap him and clearly telegraphing the beam at him. Even after knocking her out by bashing her at the back of her head as reflex, he considers her a serious threat showing he definitely wasn't holding back. Keep in mind, Yamcha is capable of trading blows with Goku at this point and can send him flying through rock formations with pure striking force.
At this point, it's unknown if Gyumao ever started formally teaching her in the ways of the Turtle School so it shows she was naturally that strong and skilled as a warrior.
Then 7 years later... she is re-introduced as the mysterious girl who (for some reason) knows of Goku from the past and registers under the moniker of "Tokumei Kibou". She breezes through the prelims of the 23rd Tenkaichi Budokai (the most decisive year of them all) in a similar matters the other finalists have by casually blitzing and one-shotting her opponents (who are all legit elite fighters in their own rights)... which was enough to catch the Z-Warriors' attention and given the implications by the announcer... all of their preliminary fights were like that. Then she fights Goku within the quarterfinals of the real tournament... the same Goku who KO'd a powered-up King Chappa (a guy Jackie Chun and Yamcha were actually worried about Goku facing back at the 22nd Budokai) just by tapping his neck, and actually holds her own against him. Granted, Goku wasn't 100% serious and was more focused on figuring out her seemingly strange behavior but the fact she had him on the defensive is no small feat... she even matches his casual 50+ meter jump to avoid her attack while in mid-action, and still fights him in mid-air with incredible speed and dexterity without the need of bukujutsu (she even has a stance). Something of the likes never even seen till around the 22nd Tenkachi Budokai.
Muten Roshi upon witnessing her abilities in action outright gives her praise (keep in mind it's usually a big deal for Roshi to acknowledge someone's skill level)... even more so due to her style resembling his Turtle Hermit style added with his apparent shock/disbelief (which you can plainly see on his face) says quite a bit.
She loses in the end but not nearly as embarrassingly as you'd expect from a no-name fighter... in fact, had Goku not agreed to "propose"... the fight could gone on much longer and she possibly could have won. She was even confident in beating him.
Even after 10 years past her prime, she was still good enough to spare with Goten (who ended up being a worthy playmate/training partner for Trunks and Gohan) on a regular basis.
Yajirobe
This guy is an even more bizzare case. He fought on par with 22nd Budokai Match-level Goku on a standstill... the same Goku who wiped out Krillin and he played with Cymbal for a while before effortlessly blitzing then defeating him. He even climbs Korin's tower with relative ease than what Goku did back at the RRA arc and with Goku on his back as well. He even saves Goku from falling to his death at the end of his fight with Piccolo Daimao at the last second.
He did all this and without any training specifically to surpass the human limits.
Even for the training received from Kami in order to fight the Saiyans where he obviously didn't take the training nearly as seriously as the others... he still had better showings than Chiaotzu (who did nothing but fail telekinesis and kamikaze). He saves everyone from the Vegeta at the last second when he went Oozaru and took a few serious hits.
Conclusion
Both were pretty unused and as a result they're original badassery has become a distant memory (Chi-Chi's case is downright severe) to a lot of fans... but from what little we saw of them... I believe they would be fairly strong human Z-Warriors (or at least more relevant than Chiaotzu) if they seriously applied themselves.

Please don't be mean...
