How much stronger did Goku/Vegeta get between BoG and U6? (Manga)

In the manga all that we know is that Goku/Vegeta trained with Whis and acquired SSJB in the process. How much stronger did they get?

Goku isn't noted to have made great progression beyond acquiring SSB even after his Rosat training, so his gains were most likely minimal after the God ritual. Vegeta would have gotten far stronger though due to his SS2 Enraged self only needing to be above the likes of Pre-God SS3 Galu and Ultimate Gohan and it seemed as though Initial Beerus was toying with him.

I'd find it hard to believe that he didn't make gains after training with Whis + RoSaT. Wasn't he training with an extremely heavy suit?

He was, though how effective that was overall with how used he is to weighted training is debatable. Goku isn't stated to have made any drastic improvements since the fight with Beerus and, therefore, there's no real reason to assume he did when considering becoming stronger after having recently reached God tier is a pretty difficult limit to break.

Pretty sure it was noted that Galu and Vegeta were already close to their limits when they went in the RoSaT in preparation for the U6 tournament as well.

They evolved a lot in their lesser forms. In SSJG and SSJB, not so much.

That was in the anime, not the manga, though I'd agree that it is more appropriate here when the manga doesn't treat them as getting huge buffs outside of transformations until the Moro Arc.

In the anime it seems it was just one of those bullshit temporary limits like Vegeta hitting his limit in the Boo arc with the Majin power up only to get way stronger 10 years later.

But shouldn't they still make some gainz when Black (while using the body of a Galu a year older) was clearly above the individual SSJB's without the God-Blue burst strategy or the later asspull of PSSJB?

Black was able to become so much stronger from abusing Zenkais neither Goku nor Vegeta could access anymore, so he's not really a good benchmark to base their gains on.

Didn't they both become much stronger in the Future arc though? Wasn't that right after the U6 tournament?

Well the training with Whis played a huge whole in leveling up to the level we see him at the U6, but anything outside of that was pretty minor.

Black could still gain Zenkais though for a time, whereas Vegeta and Goku were stated to have capped out of their available Zenkais long ago, meaning Black's Zenkai gains can't be used as a benchmark here.

Didn't Black state that he discovered Zenkais as a method of awakening his sleeping power? It doesn't appear like Rose was any stronger than the parallel world's SSJB Galu, considering even after acquiring Rose Black merely said he "mastered this power" rather than having increased it beyond its previous extent.

It's weird because Black could push him to the SSJ Rosé level by abusing of Zenakais while Goku and Vegeta could no longer benefit from Zenkais, apparently, after the achieving of the SSJ. It seems that Black's power, in virtue o having a deity as the mastermind of the body, works fairly different from it being just Goku.
