How much stronger did Vegeta expect Freeza's 2nd form to be?

Sometimes I think he expected him to get the same boost as Zarbon, in other words to rise to about 700k units of power. Other times I feel he expected him to become only slightly stronger.

I think 700k is good. If you just apply Monster Zarbon's boost to Freeza, that's where you should end up.

Vegeta and Co. should be able to at least manage something against a 700k Freeza. It'll be tough on them no doubt, but they got somewhat of a chance.

Vegeta seemed too confident for someone who was 1.33x weaker than his opponent. That's why I think he exepcted only a slight increase.

Gohan said they only might stand a chance vs 1st form. Vegeta definitely overplayed his hand here, or maybe he was hoping to become a SSJ in the fight. Kuririn and Gohan’s powers were growing too.
This seems to be the most likely scenario. Freeza said that Zarbon and Dodoria 2v1 would be more than enough to defeat Vegeta so you have to be atleast 80-85% of the person to convincingly win a 2v1, though one can say even closer than that since they were only mildly skeptical by Vegeta's initial 22k reading.

Vegeta definitely was also counting on Gohan getting a rage boost but he didn't think it would get as powerful as when he attacked 2nd Form Freeza.

He’s putting on a front, he ain’t that confident. Hes secretly crapping himself.

Look at the evidence. My man is displaying false bravado against Freeza both times.

Hes getting beat up by 1st Form and Final Form, he’s just hyping himself up.
How powerful do you think Krillin is to be considered useful against a power level of 700k?

So why did Vegeta ask Freeza to transform right after he said his plan was for all three of them to fight?
Because Vegeta has no choice but to face the situation head on.

It’s better for Vegeta to save him and his teams energy and face the real challenge.
