How powerful was SSj4 Vegeta?

SSj4 Goku on his own was behind Yi Shenrong by a fare bit.

SSj4 (Goku with his family and friends energy absorbed) was dominating Yi Sherong quite easily.

Yi absorbs all the dragonballs and transform into Super Omega Yi.

Vegeta transforms by using the machine.

But instead of fighting they suggest fusion and SSj4 Gogeta destroys Super Omega Yi.

Where would you rank SSj4 Vegeta?

Is he equal to SSj4 Goku or close to SSj4 Goku with energy?

Close to SS4 Beyond Limits Goku, though likely a bit inferior due to fusing with Goku after Goku had used a fair portion of Ki to fight Super Yi Xing Long. The only thing to suggest otherwise was Vegeta being beaten by Si Xing Long, yet that means little when Vegeta had already taken a lot of damage prior and Yi Xing Long implied that he'd given Si Xing Long a power up.

I would say a decent amount behind limits surpassed Goku. Goku had fought for a pretty substantial amount of time (and not very effectively), so it would make sense for his ki to be a decent amount lower than it was at the beginning.

He's at least weaker than Vegeta, perhaps weaker than Syn Shenron as well.

That was after the fusion though, which further drained their Ki, which Trunks even stated was a major factor into Goku's substantial decrease in power.

I like to think the Blutz Wave amplifier gave Vegeta a bigger boost than Goku got the first time around, because it was artificial and Bulma knows her shit.

It did. However, based on Trunks only noticing a startling change in it a while after the fusion, it likely hadn't drained drastically prior to fusing.

Probably close to Limits Surpassed SSj4 Goku, maybe rivals with Yi Xing Long at the minimum.

This might be Toei logic at work here, but Vegeta isn't shown to power down before he and Goku fuse, and Vegeta's fight with Omega Shenron (6-balls absorbed) hints that he performs against Shenron as well as Goku does, indicating that they're pretty close in strength.

He should be close in strength to SL SSj4 Goku. The two performed similarly against Yi Xing Long.
