The present androids letting the Z Fighters live kinda reminds me of the future ones letting Gohan and Trunks live at least once. Makes me wonder if the future androids became more evil out of frustration for not getting to kill Goku.

I mean the present ones didn’t get to kill Goku either, but it’s because Cell’s presence ended up gearing them into doing other things.
