How strong is Law currently?

I’m probably forgetting something, but iirc we haven’t really seen what he can do since Dressrosa. I’m finding it hard to believe that he is even in the same vicinity as Luffy now. In order for him to have any impact on the Wano arc, Oda will have to find some bullshit waynfor him to power up I’m sure.. He seems pretty low on the food chain in Wano.

Back in Dressrosa, he was either more or less on G2 Luffy's level or between that and Gear 3rd. Most likely, Law will mainly get by through his DF hax such as Gamma Knife or by taking on those that are somewhat lower-high tier amongst the Hundred Beast Pirates such as Hawkins.

I feel like that would go against all of the “development” ( ) that Law has had. He’s been made out to be Luffy’s equal in this alliance since day 1. Sure he might not have been as powerful, but he has been given the same importance nonetheless. It would feel very unsatisfying if he only took out the likes of Hawkins.

That equality kind of waned after Dressrosa, with Law being treat more a high-ranked subordinate than an equal ally. Law also has skills that could make him a create asset outside of the traditional route of taking down a major officer, such as his DF causing confusion amongst the Beast Pirates or his medical skills making him essential support in surviving against Kaido.

Maybe he can surgically remove Kaido's yuge brain for a free kill.
