How weak was Vegeta vs Gohan?

Gohan wasn't full-strength when he was 2800 either. Nappa had been kicking his ass for half the time they were waiting for Goku to arrive after they sensed his ki on Earth.

He and kuririn are clearly weaker when they eat the half senzu.

They did have the duration of the Goku vs Vegeta fight to recover though.

Gohan was at least close to full power when he attacked Vegeta. Nothing indicated that eating half a senzu recovered only half his energy.
