How would you fix Super in a remake ?

- Place it's main conflicts after the 28th Tenkaichi Budokai so there's an actual sense of stakes rather than knowing everything will be restored to the status-quo to fit the End of Z. The slice of life episodes can remain where they are as the start of the series for some additional character development, mainly the ones involving Kuririn, Vegeta and Gohan.
- Have Super Saiyan God and God Ki in general be a temporary form for Goku/Vegeta they aren't able to use without a ritual and have Beerus and Whis remain distant from the Z-Warriors in order to keep them enigmatic and make them feel like a faraway tier for the cast to work towards. Limiting Goku and Vegeta's power in such a way would allow for equal focus to be put on the power progression of Oob and Pan, plus you wouldn't have to keep retconning Beerus' strength this way.
- Speaking of which, the God ritual would be far less convenient than just holding hands. For the sake of keeping things simplistic, let's just go with a solar eclipse being necessary as a nice parallel to the full moon being needed for the Oozaru transformation, coupled with the fiery aspect of the SSG aura. Also, make the appearance somewhat more unique. Not so much over the top, but at the very least make it SSJ with red hair or perhaps implement the regrowth of the tail as part of the form like Toriyama initially planned for SS3.
- Remove the FnF Arc entirely, since it's only purpose was to milk nostalgia and the existence of things such as SSB and Whis' time resets aren't essential for the story as a whole. If the ToP occurs, Oob is there to take Freeza's place anyway.
- Should the Super Dragon Balls be part of the plot, have their lore and impact on the world building such as the knowledge being passed down to the Namekians being more fleshed out than just a passing mention.
- Universe 6 Arc can remain the same. Just have Goku go SS3 against Hit rather than SSB.
- Future Trunks Arc would be changed dramatically, seeing as how ideas such as Goku Black felt like something completely out of a second-rate fanfiction and Zamasu's character was entirely hypocritical. Instead, I'd have it be closer to a Future Boo Arc of sorts. Trunks was able to kill Dabura and Babidi, but a new villain appeared to stop him from destroying Boo, damaging Trunks enough to awaken the Majin. For the sake of simplicity, I'll call this villain Zamasu, with him mainly focusing on magic and using it to power Boo up far moreso than in canon much like how in Shin Budokai 2 Future Pure Boo was far above what Boo's power ever was in the present, and cause him to revert to either his Evil or Pure form through the magic.
In this version, Zamasu would be a completely different character, though still have a hatred for mortals; this time somewhat justified. Zamasu would've been born to a low tier race far weaker than even a regular human that would be treat as animals and hunted for sport by his Planet's dominant race, but through a chance encounter with Babidi was able to learn how to use magic. By the time of Age 774, he had yet to fully develop it, hence why he never appeared in the Boo Arc, but was able to far surpass his master through his notes and exploring the Universe to view all aspects of the art. Let's also say he met with a Makaioshin as well to further his skills in order to both have some tribute to the original Zamasu and act as build up for a later arc. With his treatment as sub-human and seeing how other races lived in luxury, his jealousy would lead him to wanting to bring any race that believed themselves the top of the food chain to ruin, with humanity being one such race. As such, there's no need for a whole buncg of asspulls in this arc. Vegetto defeats Boo after a hard fight and Trunks kills the defenceless Zamasu.
- ToP would be entirely about tactics and teamwork, utilising the battle royale aspect to it's full potential as it makes the need for the strongest to be the last standing unnecessary. To make things interesting, I'd have Goku eliminated by the halfway point along with Jiren at the point of Goku's power up. I'll treat the power up as just SSG, but say the form provides the same abilities as UI. For Goku obtaining the form, I believe Vegeta's ability to create a power ball would cause he and Goku to experiment in attempting to perfect a dual power ball to mimic the effects of a solar eclipse, with the ritual not being required after already obtaining the power. This allows for Oob to be the MVP and prove his worth as Goku's successor by being the last man standing. Also the Makaioshin I alluded to would appear in this arc, whether it be as a competitor or a chaotic Kaioshin of another Universe.
- Years later, once Goku and Vegeta have died, they are allowed to finally start their training with Whis. The end of the series would be Goku & Vegeta VS Beerus.

Or alternatively, scrap everything about Super and just turn the lore of DBO into a series.
