What makes you think the gap Gotenks-Boo has over Gohan is higher than Vegeta/Kiwi or 3rd Form Freeza/Piccolo? I think about that and I can't really think of a single reason.

I told you a reason. Buutenks was doing as great as 3rd Freeza vs Piccolo, if not greater, and he was only dragging the fight to enjoy his fusion

Gohan couldn't land a hit. If that's not a speedblitz, i don't know what it is.

Gohan does better against gotenks buu than super buu does against gohan, so yeah the gap between gotenks buu and gohan is probably the smaller one. Just not by much.

In the manga, Gohan didn't do shit against Buutenks. Also, Buutenks stated he wanted to enjoy his fusion time as much as possible, so
he didn't try to end the fight fast. As for Gohan vs Super Buu, Gohan was pissed for what Buu had done, so, if that gap was the larger,
the fight would be over in seconds, unless you believe Gohan was fool enough to repeat the same mistake he had done against Perfect Cell,
dragging the fight.

Gohan did try to beat super buu with almost all physical attacks. So that's kind of the same thing as not finishing cell off when he could.

The manga fight with S.Buu didn't last long before Buu decided to blow up. Nobody uses a finisher blast right off the bat, unless the
gap is multifold (ex SSJ Alternate Trunks (post rosat) vs Alternate Eighteen)

There were implications he hadn't really tried to go for the kill yet, and maybe even have more power. He was also kind-of confident before he fought Gotenks-Boo, you could say he was being over-confident or whatever, but seemed to me like he really thought he could still win.

The fight between Gohan/Boo was shorter than Bootenks/Gohan in the manga and both were onesided.
