I don't think Krilin and Chaozu are rivals when you look at their fight.

They are definitely pretty close of each other when you look at the fight IMO. Chaozu kicked Kuririn, flew towards him giving Kuririn trouble to dodge his punch, right after this he dodged Kuririn's punch. Kuririn struggles a bit and decide to use an afterimage by which Chaozu is a little "what?". After this Kuririn elbows Chaozu and press him, but even so Chaozu was able to block all of his kicks. When Chaozu was forced to use his paralyze technique, he was already weakened by the Kamehameha. Definitely a close gap between them, I'd say. Neither was so dominant over the other in the fight. I have Chaozu at 94% of Kuririn, which is fair enough. I could even decrease the difference a bit honestly speaking.

The only time Chaozu was able to hit him was when Krilin was surprised by Chaozu's expressions. Once Krilin took control the fight, Chaozu starts floating around.

Describe the difference between Goku (TB22) on Goku (Baba):

Roshi and Yamcha who witnessed how powerful it was Goku (Vs Son Gohan), but knowing that within those three years had progressed a good deal, plus he grew in stature, but still believed that against the King Chapa had no many possibilities. Therefore: King Chapa (TB22)> = Goku (initial estimate) >> Goku (tournament Baba).

Goku then proved to be much stronger than expected, easily defeating King Chapa, therefore: Goku (Cancelled against King Chapa) >> Rey Chapa (TB22) >> Goku (tournament Baba).

For the reasons shall now, Krillin / Yamcha (TB22) are slightly stronger than Goku (Vs Chapa).

Krillin does not seem to be nervous of the power of Goku, until the latter said he did not fight with all his might against the King Chapa, but had killed him. Therefore: Goku (Estimated Krilin)> / >> Goku (Vs Chapa).

Yamcha wanted may not stand against Goku, or YACKIE Chun, but Yamcha and Goku knew not fight seriously against King Chapa.

Also at the beginning of the battle between Tenshinhan vs Yamcha, Krillin looked more scared than the fight between Goku vs King Chapa. Yamcha> = Goku (Vs Chapa).

Before you start fighting Goku vs. Krillin, the latter tells Goku to fight with all his strength, knowing that Goku was> / >> Goku (Vs Chapa) and still Krilin thought I had some chances to win. It may be thanks to his tricks, but if Krillin was much lower than Goku, then his tricks would not be enough to defeat Goku.

When you start the fight between Goku vs. Krillin, the latter tells Goku with some astonishment "You're very Veils" I personally believe that the strength correlates with the speed, unless proven otherwise (for example Goku Weighted vs Tenshinhan). Therefore: Goku (Vs Krilin to top)> = Krilin (TB22)> Goku (Vs Chapa).

Later Goku says will fight more seriously, from that moment begins to beat for a relatively comfortable Krillin difference. Then Roshi says astonished "How powerful is to become Goku," Krillin rivaled even so this Goku.

Goku (Vs Krilin "more serious")> Goku (Vs Krilin to top)> = Krilin (TB22)> Goku (Vs Chapa).

Anyway I have a very small advantage of Krilin (TB22) on Goku (Vs Chapa).

Therefore: Goku (Vs Krilin End) >>> Goku (Vs Krilin "more serious")> Goku (Vs Krilin to top)> = Krilin / Yamcha (TB22)> Goku (Vs Chapa) >> Rey Chapa ( TB22) >> Goku (Tournament Baba).

In the end, Goku initially use the same power he had used against Krillin at the end, but still, got a beating from Tenshinhan, when use all its power. So Goku decides to use all his power and that it recognizes that it is much higher still. Then it shows Goku (FP)> = Tenshinhan (FP) >>> Goku (Vs Krilin End / Vs Tenshinhan to top).

Thus:

Goku (TB22)> = Tenshinhan (TB22) >>> Goku (Vs Krilin End) >>> Goku (Vs Krilin "more serious")> Goku (Vs Krilin to top)> = Krilin / Yamcha (TB22)> Goku (Vs Chapa) >> Rey Chapa (TB22) >> Goku (Tournament Baba).

Even so Kuririn struggled a bit to evade Chaozu's attacks and could only elbow him tricking him with an afterimage, by which, like I said, Chaozu still blocked all of his kicks. Definitely don't see Chaozu not rivaling Kuririn.

Chaozu's expression pretty much scares Krilin alot and caught him off guard.

And then, he used his afterimage to attack him that's all.

After that, Chaozu started floating to take an advantage. Honestly, he didn't shown anything except relying on his special attack. Sounds like 90% to me like distant rival.

The first panel of the last page you posted suggests a gap a tad bit smaller than 10% in my onion.

Chaozu flaoted off at the next panel cause for one they were going no where with that and also he was at the edge of the ring.

The first panel suggest nothing except that it shows how Krilin was pushing him as Goku said. Even if he tried to float around in order to save himself from getting out of the ring, he shouldn't float around and fire dondon blast continuosly since it just proves that Chaozu need his special attack to win.

1st of all thats basic commentary as prior to that krillin was doing next to nothing. Second of all as i said he was getting out of the ring so ofc a commebt like that would be appropriate.

Plus dont see how him spamming dondon ray (which is the best way to attack in mid air) is any more downgradable than krillin having no choice but to use khh against it or messing with his head to land in a few hits.

Nothing proves that Chaozu rivaled Krilin. He can't win by combat hence he float around and fire dondon to Krilin.

I'm starting thing this is like Dabura Vs Gohan

The fact is, Chaozu didn't show anything other than his special techniques which proves he's weak similar to Kaioshin.
