Considering Golden Freeza lasted longer than SSJG Goku did against Ikari despite a much weaker power gap, I just chalk it up to plot convenience.

SSJ Broly didnt exactly fight "on par" with Gogeta, Gogeta warmed up for a bit in base, realized it wasn't enough, then went SSJ and beat up Broly enough that he was pushed to his full power form.

They fought on-par from what I've read but Broly's power kept rising through-out the fight.

Gogeta almost defeats around that time but Shenron wishes him away, preventing Gogeta from pissing the rest of his ki away and defusing like Vegetto 2 2

Frieza surviving Broly for an hour is PIS nonsense, by that logic no one stronger can kill Frieza.

As for this fight, who knows, I watched the fight and they seemed roughly equal as both where landing and hitting each other equally

Assuming this is referring to the Freeza from the film, he wins considering he should be about equal to the SSB Goku who overpowered Ikari Broly. If it's his FnF self, then he gets stomped as his current Golden form ought to be at least 10x stronger than in that arc due to scaling from Goku's rematch with Hit and manga-wise seems to now be on PSSB tier compared to the SSB tier it was before.

To be fair, Gohan's the only one with this contrivance in the Super manga if you ignore asspull power ups such as Vegeta's rage bursts or the humans getting haxed for the ToP.
