Tbf, getting stronger while fighting seems go back from RRA arc when Goku was destroying the RRA.
It wasn't to the extent of entering a completely different tier in an instant though.

Well that I agree. Super just beat it to death and not to mention this is Broly whose Ki keeps getting stronger.

I think that could be a reference to "My ki is rising... overflowing!" thing from M8 (esp since Kale did a similar thing when fighting Freeza and Galu), though it's still crap writing obviously.

Yeah, Freeza is insanely durable. SSJ Broly fought on-par with SSJ Gogeta no way is he not much above Freeza.

SSJ Broly didnt exactly fight "on par" with Gogeta, Gogeta warmed up for a bit in base, realized it wasn't enough, then went SSJ and beat up Broly enough that he was pushed to his full power :pakl form.
They fought on-par from what I've read but Broly's power kept rising through-out the fight.

SSjin Gogeta had a slight advantage.

SSjin Gogeta= 10
SSjin Broli=8.5-9

Something like that.

I think SSJ Gogeta just had better technique. When their blasts clashed, they were completely even and shattered the dimension.

However, Broli was forced to go FP so its safe to say Gogeta was a little stronger. Distant rivals is a good one.

If they were distant rivals I would expect Broly's blast to get overpowered by Gogeta's KHH, not cancel each other out while shattering the dimension. Meanwhile, when MUI Goku clashed with Jiren in Episode 130 for instance (prior to that MY NAKAMA!! hax), his KHH got overpowered pretty quickly and he had to dodge. Broly did transform first, but it looked like it was a spontaneous thing that didn't really have much to do with power differences. Hell, Broly wasn't even in his right mind - he was just attacking everything in sight.

Broly's power just kept rising. Overflowing. :troll :troll :troll

Besides I said they fought on-par, doesn't mean they had a literally equal fight.
