Im starting to get the feeling his Initial State is the same strength as Fat Boo. Nobody has noted a power increase, only the change in Ki. Not even Piccolo says anything about power, only that he is better suited for battle. Can anyone counter this argument?

Like very initially? Because after he flairs his aura on Earth, Piccolo implies that Gotenks can't beat him.

You think that was a power up?

The Daizenshuu 2 states that after Evil Buu ate the Good Buu, he powered up immediately, and then it shows a pic of Super Buu in his VERY, VERY first appearance.

So yes, Initial Super Buu > Fat Buu is flat-out stated.

When he screams and cracks the earth, it's clearly a power increase. He's immediately sensed from the kaioshin realm when he does so.

Before that we get zero reactions to his power, so immediately after absorbing good buu? It's possible.

Initial Evil Boo was already way stronger than Fat Boo IMO. He immediately powered up, grabbing Goku and Kaioshin's attention on the Kaioshin realm, a feat that only SSJ3 Goku was able to do.

Not to mention that when Piccolo said it to Kuririn, the latter got a bit nervous, saying they still had fusion, to what Piccolo was no longer that confident, even so SSJ Gotenks being able to beat Fat Boo was a sure thing.

I prefer to think of his power-burst as being something similar to how light travels. The energy won't arrive in the Kaioshin realm as one entire chunk -rather, it will take time for the energy to gradually disperse, even if Super Boo already went back down to his previous battle power.

Piccolo's statement towards Krillen is simply Piccolo wondering why he didn't catch on to Super Boo's power-burst, as opposed to his superficial battle power, which Krillen -among others, don't notice any difference in comparison to where he was before.

Eh why would he power back down?

That seems to be really stretching the material to try to conform to a belief.

Other notable Chi sensors have to be informed that he's different.

You mean kuririn. Since piccolo, Dende, Goku, and kaioshin all notice the difference immediately.

Yamcha and Krillen acknowledge the fact that Super Boo can sense Ki now, this implies that their Ki sensing is completely reliable -furthermore, the artwork shows sensing Boo just as he arrived to the lookout. There is no reason to disregard their Ki sensing abilities, it corrupts the plot.

When Piccolo says 'haven't you noticed', this occurrs DIRECTLY after Boo does his power-burst, so clearly, Piccolo expects that Krillen should have caught onto this. However, he didn't have a reason to worry so he didn't -how do I know this? Because he puts emphasis on what Goku predicted.

There doesn't seem to be anything to suggest Initial Evil Boo is much different from Innocent Boo.

That's about seven (Goku, Kaioshin, Kibito, Gohan, Old Kaioshin, Piccolo, Dende) to two (Krillin, Yamcha) when you think about it. That means the transformation was anything but a subtle one.

I'll take RELEVANT characters word over someone that thought that Base Gotenks had a chance against Fat Buu and thought that 3rd Form Freeza barely powered up.

Krillin and Yamcha are irrelevant.

Gohan didn't really notice anything on his own, he reacted when everybody did. If Super Boo's power-burst really did surpass Innocent Boo to a great deal, it's obvious that they would watch onto something.

However, even Goten, Trunks, Krillen and Yamcha didn't notice any difference before and after the fact, despite being informed from Piccolo that more than just his appearance has changed, we aren't told from the younger guys that there was any significant difference between Super Boo now and Super Boo then.
