#20 stupidly thought they had enough information to complete their research. Funny enough, he assumed Goku's age would mean there wasn't an opportunity for any more drastic power-ups. Master genius stuff right there.

Nah, I totally get why it comes off like that, Super. I just think the "miserable condition" is what's affecting him from using all of his power. I see it as Goku fighting with all the power he has available and can't use anymore than that.

The way I see it, there's a difference between suppression and not going all-out. Suppression is them making it a point to decrease or increase their power when they choose to.Choosing to not fighting all-out seems to be an effort thing. Goku said Trunks didn't come at him with his all, but I don't think he's actually suppressed there. Raditz said he was going to increase the power in his attacks during his fight with Goku/Piccolo...and we know that nigga can't suppress shit.

Truthfully speaking, a lot of the stuff around this part of the story can come off as unclear.

Very good explanation, bro. I suppose I should have thought of the Saiyan arc, as we even have Vegeta seemingly powering up. Makes more sense now.

Well it's directly implying that SSJs can suppress, no? I thought t was common knowledge that it wasn't possible until mastery.

Well, Kamiccolo does say Goku wasn't going all out against Fatboi but he clearly wasn't suppressed. Ok, he didn't say "Full Power", but "All out" has a similiar value here.
Trying to use this statement by saying "Full power of his current condition" doesn't make much sense IMO, as nobody remembered Goku was sick until after #19 absorbed his Kamehameha, so it'd be silly for Piccolo to call a weakened Goku his "Full power" when he can't suppress and has no clue about the heart virus.
