Is 450,000 a reasonable power level for Post-Zenkai Vegeta?

Talking about the Vegeta who grappled with 1st Form Freeza of course.

450,000 is about ~85% of 530,000. It is clearly shown in their aftermath of their short scuffle that Freeza had the advantage, as he was completely nonchalant while Vegeta was out of breath. But is still enough so he can hold Freeza on place and make him have a fighting chance.

So, is 450,000 a reasonable placement for Vegeta?

I'd say higher like about 480k due to Vegeta's confidence in fighting a hypothetical transformation.

With two power levels of at least over 200,000(and skyrocketing) to help him. He was expecting something in the 630-640k range most likely, since Zarbon's transformation went from 24,000 to 28,000ish. He probably expected Freeza to have that kind of boost too.

I've always had him closer to 500k. 450k seems a bit low based off of their brief scuffle.

It was very brief. Vegeta was also shonw to suffer more than Freeza in the outcome of their scuffle. While he is sweating and out of breath, Freeza is completely fine, with not as much as a scratch or a sweat in his face.

Freeza still exerted effort during the struggle and couldn't overpower him, and Vegeta showed confidence he could fight off a Freeza with a similar transformation boost to Zarbon's if he had help from Gohan and Kuririn, so 500 seems a better level.

If Vegeta was that close to Freeza then he would've been confident to beat his First Form alone. Remember Vegeta is a much better fighter and he is more experienced than Freeza when it comes to 1v1. As far as we know from guidebooks, Toriyama interviews and etc., Freeza hasn't gotten dust out of his arse in years. He never even fought someone who was equal to him(closest to that being his father, who was still a fair bit weaker than him).

Yet, Vegeta knew he could not win against 1st Form Freeza alone. That's why, in my opinion, 450k fits rather well.

Vegeta overwhelmed a 16,000 Goku at 18,000 before, so he'd find the greater power disadvantage of 450 to 530 cumbersome. Yet, Freeza openly declared there was truth to Vegeta's talk after their struggle, which had no apparent advantage on his end besides Vegeta being more exhausted afterwards. It also makes sense Vegeta would want a team effort since Zarbon informed him about Freeza's other form 2 volumes beforehand, or he wouldn't have taunted him to use it right away.

I think Vegeta can take Freeza on his own but he's gonna need Gohan and Krillins help against Hypo 2nd Freeza.

Pretty much what Papasmurf said. 480k is the minimum imo.

Krillin stated that Vegeta needed their power to win against Freeza, and he was talking about First Form. If Vegeta had a power level of 500,000 or so, why would such statement be made considering Vegeta was already extremely close to Freeza, and as i mentioned above, Vegeta has much more going for him like skills, experience, saiyan durability and etc.? Remember that Krillin didn't know Freeza could transform yet. And:

Chapter: 294 (DBZ 100), P2.2
Piccolo: “I feel an outrageously large ki far away…! Is th-this the monster called Freeza…!? There’s three huge ki close by…! That must be Gohan and the others…!”

If Vegeta was 500,000 and Freeza was 530,000, why didn't Piccolo say "two outrageously large ki far away"?

Not compared to Freeza's. 450,000 to 530,000 is a 15% difference, which is enough for Vegeta not to be compared to Freeza's power level in my opinion. For instance, Piccolo(Pre Kami) was not compared to the Super Saiyans, even though pretty much everyone here agrees he is not much far below Trunks.

Vegeta was weaker than Freezs by a decent margin... Vegeta was sweating and painting.... Freeza was not...
