Is kaioken retconned?

I haven't watched Super, but i've heard that BSSJ Goku (10x KK)<Beerus. Is this a retcon of how kaioken works? Maybe it's not a multiplier,
but an addition. For instance, at Saiyans Saga, for every kaioken level, you gain 4000...

Goku: 8.000
-1x kaioken: 12.000
-2x kaioken: 16.000
-3x kaioken: 20.000

Vegeta: 17.000

No, it definitely multiplies power. Hitt senses Goku's power climb from triple his original ki to quadruple before increasing all the way to 10x.
