Is Piccolo Daimao really a demon?

He's Namekian, but he's born from just the evil of the Nameless Namek. So was he really a demon then, with special demonic qualities only possessed by Namekians created from the evil parts of a Namekian? He is the only one who can make these beings like Piano, Cymbal, Tambourine and Drum that don't look like other Namekians. Mayvw there are other demonic differences.

He's made purely out of evil, so yes.

He's still a Namekian but he was corrupted by evil, so he gained demonic properties unique to himself. That's how I've always seen it.
