Is "several" really used?

King Piccolo said Tambourine is 'many' times greater than Cymbal, which means he is at the very least 4x as strong as Cymbal, since "many" is more than "several", and "several" means either 3 or 2

I see this a whole-lot in Herms' translations and is that word really used?

Sometimes they use that word to literally describe the quantity of 2. How is that several?

Considering I never read the manga and am absolutely no authority on the subject, my answer is YES!
