Is Tao's physical power unique?

Is he the only one who can throw a pillar so powerfully? Because the feat is broken. You think everyone with a higher PL than him can do the same?
Maybe he's developed that one skill, which far surpasses the overall strength of his ki? He's like a baseball player who can probably throw a ball faster than someone much stronger (eg elite powerlifter) and even someone overall more powerful (eg weightlifter or Ngannou) than himself.
If it's not just a disproportionate throwing ability (since he also has to jump on the pillar), it could be disproportionate (to battle power) physical power in general.

Well, at that moment, despite everything, it is a really broken power.

Tao is just that much stronger than everything that proceeded him. Remember, there's absolute strength in regards to how a ki user reacts with the physical world and then there is relative strength, how ki users interact with one another...

Namu is the first one to showcase this with his jump that greatly exceeds Goku and Krillin's ability to jump, despite their power levels being similar...

Also, this is why Tao should be head and shoulders above everything that happened before him besides Oozaru Goku and Max Power Roshi at the 21st Budokai of course...

It's interesting. I've got Tao at ~3.5x 21st Roshi/Goku level but he feels so much stronger than that. It makes me question if power actually scales linearly.

Oh, they definitely don't.

But remember, power levels don't scale against the world, like things like gravity, strength, and so on in regards to linearly. Namu proved that as well as Goku and Krillin's boulder feats.

Now power levels do scale linearly in regards to relational power in regards to ki spacing.

That's the best way to handle it imo...

So basically Tao's pillar feat is mostly irrelevant when talking about power levels, or at least its deceptive and makes him look stronger than he is. Say with the Mega Rex, just because Tao could probably kill it throwing the pillar, that doesn't mean Nappa could also kill it by throwing something (Nappa needs other feats to show he could do it).

I don't see why he should be considered head and shoulders above everyone at the 21st (sans Oozaru/FPKHH) based on his pillar feat then, if you're saying that one's feats of physically interacting with the environment can vary considerably from one's strength when interacting with other ki users.

I don't think Tao was intended to have an excess stat, just unorthodox tendencies, like the way he beat Blue. This doesn't mean anyone that scales higher could do it as smoothly, necessarily.

No one is throwing that pillar as far as Tao, regardless if they got into the pillar throwing business or not.

Tao is just that much stronger than everyone else.

We should give credence to something with zero sample size? Not exactly a Guinness World Record entry with multiple participants trying their hand at this.

Thems the breaks. Now, you'll be happy to hear that this feat is applied to everyone above Tao. So Gohan, Korin Trained Goku, King Chappa and so on all get this feat applied to them.

Those below Tao however, sadly should not be considered anywhere close to relevant to him.

Are you interpreting it as Tao's body being the culprit behind his pillar feat? Why couldn't this be explained as ki amplifying physical strength?

It makes no sense for him to be that much stronger than earlier characters, unless it's something disproportionate to his PL. Because this is thousands of times more powerful than the Namu feat and we know Tao's PL isn't thousands of times stronger than Namu. In which case those stronger than him may not be able to do it.

And if Gurd can throw as hard as Tao, why not do that when throwing the tree to try to kill Krillin/Gohan, rather than using telekinesis to throw it? The telekinesis throws the tree much slower than Tao would.

Then there's the weighted clothing. If they're all so physically powerful (purposely using the word "powerful", not "strong". The function of the amount of weight moved and the speed it's moved at) why would such light weighted clothing make them so much faster? It would be nothing to them - like if I strapped 1kg to me and got dramatically quicker after removing it.
And then there's Super and filler, where Goku struggles with a bus, struggles with Beerus' weights or Yamcha goes to the gym, which shouldn't even be a place where he can get a workout if he's dozens of times more physically powerful than Tao.

Nappa has small planet level punches, he can easily throw that pillar like a piece of cake, anyone with a power level like him van, lmao.
