The Great Saiyaman... Is it childish, or is there value in this concept? It's as if Gohan took notes of the Ginyu Squad during Namek, and finally got the chance to put the concept into practice after Cell. Is the concept of the vigilante valuable, or is it cringe because it's taken overboard?

He primarily uses it for local crime-fighting to be fair. He's so far above standard folks that he can neutralize them while thinking of what his next pose or speech will be. It's childish, but valuable for his side job.

Well, he mainly wore it to hide his identity so it actually serves a purpose, but it's also another excuse for Toriyama to parody Super Sentai heroes.

Gohan was like a combination of Peter Parker and Clarke Kent during the Great Saiyaman arc, and I love it.
