Is this evidence that SSJ Gotenks pre < SSJ3 Goku?

When the kids fused in the ROSAT (I think we all agree that Base Gotenks post > SSJ Gotenks pre), after the first attacks, Super Buu seemed bored and said, "You're weak. I'll kill you."

We know that Super Buu expected someone stronger than SSJ3 Goku to show up, since that was what Goku had told Fat Buu, and Super Buu had Fat Buu's memories. So, if Base Gotenks post was indeed stronger than SSJ3 Goku, wouldn't Super Buu have commented on that? Instead of just saying, "You're weak," he could've said, "You are stronger than that guy, as he promised me. But you're still nothing compared to me."

Does that indicate that SSJ Gotenks post (or SSJ3 Gotenks) was the first fused fighter to surpass SSJ3 Goku?

No. It just means Base Gotenks can't entertain Super Boo.

You're overthinking it. It just means that Base Gotenks is weak compared to Super Buu. Piccolo promised him a powerful opponent so Buu was disappointed when Base Gotenks didn't live up to the hype.

Base Gotenks Post is no way in hell stronger than either SSJ3 Goku or SSJ Gotenks Pre (realistically).

Considering AT scripting, and how we got Cell stating that the idea of SSJ Gohan defeating him is quite exagerated, but Goku wasn't entirely bluffing, which somewhat agreed with Gohan > Goku in the Cell Games, whereas Super Buu actually mocked Gotenks and say it was the same he beat up before it tell us that Toriyama wasn't at all promoting Base Gotenks Post stronger than SSJ3 Goku (not even holding back). It took SSJ3 Gotenks for Buu to believe that he had never faced someone as strong as him and that he was his strongest opponent.

Base Gotenks is nothing special.
