So I've been wondering what a hybrid of a dragon would look like for quite some time now, but I believe we have already seen it.

There you have it. Kaido was the only one to have an appearance change. It's obvious that is actually his Base form that we have yet to see. Oda wouldn't have included that for no reason.

Interesting if true, though it does seemingly remove that tie between Kaido and Oars. I do hope it ends up being true rather than Oda simply retconning his original design of Kaido.

Maybe Kaido was genetically altered into that sort of beast like the Numbers were.

That does seem the most likely explanation if anything. Yamato also has horns, so unless Kaido's got a fetish for being cucked by Numbers, his horns are definitely a genetic trait.
It's worth noting though Kaido had his horns and the general appearance of his current self in all but height during his time in the Rocks crew, making the idea Kaido's original design just got retconned a lot more likely.

Good point. Idk why he would've revealed the Yonko at that point anyway. With the amount of mystery bait in OP you'd figure he would've drawn them as shadows at best.
