Kaioken Or PSSjinB

I'm talking about how both Toyo and Toei handled on making Goku stronger than his regular SSjinB.

With Toyo, he added PSSjinB which is a full power of regular SSjinB where Goku went from being Merged Zamasu's bitch into his equal.

Toei on the other hand went on to multiply Goku's SSjinB by Kaioken which he used against Hit, Merged Zamasu briefly, Toppo, Gohan and Jiren.

Which of them did better?

PSSB is stupid, but at least less so than Goku conveniently using a risky technique he hadn't used for over a decade just fine and stacking it on top of a form that already isn't the most conserving when it comes to stamina. Not only that, but at least PSSB plays a role in the plot, as much of an asspull as it may be. You could remove Kaioken from the anime and nothing would change.

I think Toriyama has spoken on the matter. Adding Kaioken to a transformation is a no go, I consider Kaioken Super Saiyan Blue to be non canon since the manga rebuked that idea.

PSSJB isn't great either, but it's a hell of a lot better than shitting on the entire series by introducing the thought of Kaioken being added on top of transformations. That's blasphemy.
