The "being amazed" at Base power is so overstated. He was more stunned by that than Super Saiyan 2 Gohan.

Mike, I think this is from the assumption that the South Kaioshin couldn't lift the sword. A huge assumption at that.

It was never stated that all of the Kaioshin's failed, though. Kibito just says he and many Kaioshins have failed at removing the Z-Sword. For all we know, South Kaioshin probably didn't think he'd need the potential power the Z-Sword would give the wielder. He might've been content being the strongest of the Kaioshin's with his own power.

Kaioshin doesn't know who Cell is. He knows the Saiyans have a connection to Freeza, so he used him as an example. That shouldn't be used to diminish his capabilities.

To be fair everything about South Kaioshin is assumption based. Whether he did or did not try to remove the Z sword is all an assumption. There is a better way to prove his power.

That was my point. One can't prove he's weaker than Gohan because they can't prove he tried to pull out the sword.

That's asking me to prove a negative. The side making the claims should be expected to back their claim up, not ask the opposing side to prove the opposite.

That is what I go with as well. I think South is even stronger than SS3 Goku.
