Recurring boss that made End of Yakuza 0 Kiryu pant heavily after their last fight and clash blows evenly for a while VS Recurring boss that made Mid-point Yakuza 6 Kiryu pant a bit before stomping him in the next two rounds. Is the difference in Kiryu's ability growth over the years enough for Han to contend with Kuze?

Both start off in Heat Mode.

Any Kiryu post Yakuza 0 would run an absolute train on the warriors in Yakuza 0. Han stomps.

I'm not that sure about that. Sure, we get statements of him surpassing his previous peak at times such as Komaki saying he'd gotten even stronger in a substory midway through Kiwami 2 (though if that lines up with his 0/Kiwami peak when Komaki's training is essential for completing Majima Everywhere is debatable), but it's seldom suggested to be by a great amount. Hell, games such as Y4 confirm Kiryu can get sloppy in peaceful times and needs to actively train to get back to his previous peak in more than just Kiwami, and this should be especially true for a Kiryu that'd spent nearly 3 years in prison.
