Lazarus (Japanese: LAZARUS ラザロ, Hepburn: Razaro) is an original anime television series produced by MAPPA and Sola Entertainment that was created and directed by Shinichirō Watanabe. The series premiered in Japan on TV Tokyo and its affiliates and in the United States on Adult Swim's Toonami programming block in April 2025.

From the name I guess someone seems to die but is secretly alive, or they arw known to able to revive.

Don't think I'll watch anime for a while. I guess dandadan S2 and dorohedoro s2.

I just watched the first episode. It has heavy Cowboy Bebop vibes. We'll find out if it's a modern day take on Cowboy Bebop. Interesting synopsis so far.

I'm watching episode four. The visuals, the music, and the flow. Man, this has the potential to be better than Cowboy Bebop. If it's going to be better by the time I finish it, I will be impressed. This is so great! How exciting!

Man, this show is fucking stellar. The action and fighting scenes are sublime.

Never watched Lupin. I suppose I need to add it to the list if you state it's better than Cowboy Bebop.

Just watched episode 10. The music is phenomenal, the animation is superb, and the scene transitions elevate its production. This is a sick fucking show, and we should celebrate that we are rewarded with such a splendid show.

Just finished it. I love Cowbow Bebop, and now I love Lazarus. However, I don't know if I love it more than Cowboy Bebop, though. I find them both to be stellar.

I recommend everyone watch this show.

I watched Trigun and Big O over two decades ago on Toonami, that I barely remember. I have not watched Samurai Champloo or Space Dandy yet, however, I was aware of them. Thanks for the suggestions.

Champloo and Space Dandy are both fun watches.

Just took a look at the voice actors for both, and I'm fucking sold. I intend to watch Space Dandy first since it's shorter. If there are threads already, I'll bump them. Otherwise, I'll make new threads as I watch the shows.
