Outside of certain people I care about maybe…
Akira Toriyama is the greatest ningen who ever lived…forget about ningen he is GAWD.
But…Nah. He didn't discover a cure for a disease or fight for the marginalized and oppressed ones.
Dunno. He can't be considered a mangaka only, for He is a God.OK. Maybe I exaggerated but is he at-least the greatest manga-ka of all-time?
He is a manga-ka GAWD in that case.Dunno. He can't be considered a mangaka only, for He is a God.
By surpassing anything and everything. Legacy left behind & pure genius. How could he achieve such status?
PunPun guy's a bit hit or miss. He did great work on PunPun but Nijigahara Holograph was pretty meh. Inoue's work on Slam Dunk was phenomenal considering its weekly schedule but Vagabond falls off a cliff after volume 28, Urasawa's works after 20th Century Boys/Monster haven't been that good. Chi no Wadachi seems aight from what I've read (not much) but from what I've heard of his other work Inside Mari it sounds like trash. Dude's hit or miss as well.I looked up ningen and found results about whales???
For his manga I'd say he's pretty average/below average. I think Miura, Urasawa, Inoue, Ito, Punpun guy and Chi no Wadachi guy are much better.
Miura worked hard to a fault though, Inoue has no motivation and Yukimura's releases are pr slow with a lot of his monthly chapters having under 30 (and sometimes under 25) pages which has resulted in VS still being incomplete after 17+ years of serialization.Miura, Inoue, and Yukimura are all way better authors, IMO.

Especially Miura, and Mori is about to be up there with them too.
