Also, wouldn't it make sense for Broly's LSSj form to parallel Grade 3, seeing how Movie 8 seems to parallel the Perfect Cell arc? (Trunks and Vegeta use Grade 2, Broly tanks a kick to neck just like Cell, both Grade 3 and LSSj have huge muscles)

M8 Vegeta and Trunks are shown designed and stated to be 1st ROSAT.... Piccolo is below them while in the CG in the Anime he is at least stronger than 1st ROSAT Vegeta... Gohan is the weakest saiyan and in par with Trunks... Goku is based on his 10 days state but in movie 8 universe his full power is maxed out to his resting state
M9 is CG and new villains are stronger than the last ones... Fact

I give this to the father son duo. I have Gohan already on Broly's level, and I don't have Gohan miles ahead of Goku so I think Goku could be of some help to Gohan in taking Broly down.

It's impossible to have m8 z fighters = CG z fighters. That would mean:
Goku > Gohan > Goku

No he is not... Goku is not strongest in movie 1, 7 and 9... The only reason he is haxed in later movies in the Boo Arc because he is haxed in the anime in the Boo SagaSupreme said:
