Good Boo beats out any version of Fat-Boo prior to the one that fought Gaku I reckon. I do think Boo didn't fight back until he used that explosion attack and that's why Boo's first power up against Dabura was already enough to make Goku and Vegeta both shit bricks and think they needed to team up to win, but Good Boo just looks like he would've massacred Vegeta even harder than his complete self did back then.

So do you think he used different levels (of effort???) against Vegeta and Goku? IIRC, he didn't do a power-up afterward.

He doesn't really do a visible power up unless you count him puffing smoke out of his holes when Vegeta calls him a hideous balloon before killing himself, so I think he did some ki-release or something when he did that explosive wave, I guess. No way he wasn't fucking around with Vegeta when Goku as a SSJ3 couldn't risk being hit by his Kamehameha and needed to deflect it on Earth (killing millions of humans ) and he traded blows with him. Piccolo even stated Goku would need to fight all-out to beat Fatty, and we know SSJ3 Goku makes SSJ2 Vegeta look like shit.

So you think he was just trolling Vegeta and was more serious against Goku? Like different level of effort, but maybe same power.

I think so, or he might be able to suppress. Kid Boo seems to have done that when Vegeta thought he was piss weak and they could take him, and Fat Boo is just Kid Boo + two Kaioshins.

Actually, Gohan only says that he can manage something, which doesn't imply that he is > Fat Buu(Initial), only that he achieved a level that he would be able to some kind of fight.

Actually, Gohan only says that he can manage something, which doesn't imply that he is > Fat Buu(Initial), only that he achieved a level that he would be able to some kind of fight.

Well, the way he says it, seems to me like "he really is high, but i could defeat him if i could use my true-power."

Yeah, Gohan clearly cannot overcome a power disadvantage, which is why he felt powerless against the likes of Reacoom, Freeza, Cell and Gotenks-Boo. He'd at least have to be moderately ahead of Boo to think he can manage something, especially when he was so rusty that he can't get past Dabra even though Vegeta says he wasn't an opponent that couldn't be beat.
