I'm not sure he powers up with the Angry Explosion. In the anime, Dende talks about Buu's power continuing to grow after the fight with Vegeta.

I remember talk about Buu showing his true worth against Goku as well.

What is the deal here? It feels like Final Impact is stronger than Buu, is the Buu who fought Goku much stronger than the one who fought Vegeta?

Where are the statements for this?

Because if Fat Buu is merely weaker than Final Impact, we have to rethink a lot of things here. This hasn't been explored enough imo, we just piggy back off of Goku's strength usually.

Buu has generally never defended against chi attacks of any sort and just regenerates. After buu's second power up Vegeta knows he's going to die.

I think Fat Buu used more power against SSJ3 Goku. Either his angry kiai against Vegeta was a power up or he did a silent power up right before fighting SSJ3 Goku.

Silent power ups don’t occur.

fat Buu should be at full power at his second power up, he just didn’t use the power yet is all
