Piccolo could use the MKKP instantly against Nappa, so the latter

Anime only. Manga wise, SPC was an one time only event and LG can be weaker and still be considered better because it can be actually
used in an one on one fight.

It has the same look as the Makankosappo. It is probably a variation that Piccolo developed over the year.

An attack doesnt have one single way of being performed. The Genki Dama changed significantly between the Saiyan and Freeza arcs, the Taiyo-ken pose differs all the time, and the Kamehameha itself has had a fucking foot variation and shit. If it's visually the same attack, no reason it isn't.

I'd say the Gekiretsu Kōdan amplifier is bigger. Piccolo should use his strongest attack against Imperfect Cell. If he opted by the LG, so his amplification is bigger IMO.

Maybe it was an uncharged SPC. No reason to believe it was anywhere near the power of the variation that gets charged for 5 minutes.

That can't have been 5 minutes, if it was it'd have taken up the whole volume, like SSJ Goku vs. Freeza
