Manga Dabura vs SSJ Goten & Trunks

Just for the argument sake let's assume that Dabura is only SSJ Gohan's level, you're free to think that Dabura was holding back at effort against him (which he seems to, but it's not concrete). How good he can fare?

Case #1: Pre Rosat SSJ Goten & Trunks

Case #2: Post Rosat SSJ Goten & Trunks

Fusion is not allowed. Dabura can't use his spit ability.

Under the impression that Buu Saga Gohan is slightly ahead of Cell Games Goku (which he can be as he has SSJ2 unlike Goku).

Buu Saga SSJ Gohan (AT MOST): 80
Dabura: 88

The problem is how Goku estimates Dabura strength in relation to Cell.

From his perspective, Dabura (estimated FP) ~ Cell (vs Goku)? Or FP Perfect Cell? Dabura ends up surpassing his expectatives, but there's no actual method to quantify this. Could he also have expected him to be Warm Up Perfect Cell level? Dabura vs Gohan contradicts a lot.

Dabura wins in both scenarios. They lack the skill and experience necessary to deal with his magic and I think SSJ Gohan has the leg-up above SSJ Goten and Trunks after he trained during the Budokai via muscle memory. Gohan still remained relevant to the adults and the kids never gave me that impression later on in the Buu Saga.

Agreed. I never bought the kids being close to Gohan. They are stronger than Piccolo but that's about it. Most of their praise is about them going Super Saiyan at such a young age, which isn't necessarily a power cap.

I’ll say Dabura for both. I put the boys around 16’s level after the Rosat.

Dabura wins both. If Gohan, albeit rusty, was barely able to avoid Dabura's spit, there's no way that Goten or Trunks would be able to. All Dabura needs to do is take one of them out and then it's a guaranteed win.

If his spit is banned then the kids could probably manage something.

They barely held their own and would've lost if the Jrs didn't pull back. I think they're just a bit stronger than Jrs individually.
