We need to pay tribute to this studio.

MAPPA Co., Ltd. (Japanese: 株式会社MAPPA, Hepburn: Kabushiki-gaisha Mappa) is a Japanese animation studio headquartered in Nakano, Tokyo[2] (formerly in Suginami, Tokyo). Founded in 2011 by Madhouse co-founder and producer Masao Maruyama, it has produced anime works including Terror in Resonance, Yuri!!! on Ice, In This Corner of the World, Kakegurui, Banana Fish, Zombie Land Saga, Dororo (in co-production with Tezuka Productions), Dorohedoro, The God of High School, Jujutsu Kaisen, Attack on Titan (season 4), Vinland Saga (season 2), Chainsaw Man, Hell's Paradise: Jigokuraku, and the 2024 adaptation of Ranma ½. MAPPA is an acronym for Maruyama Animation Produce Project Association.

Dorohedoro had good cgi. The best big studios 10 years ago seemed to be Bones and Madhouse, for animation. One punch man season 1 had great animation and general production from Madhouse. Sometimes it's a specific team within the studio too - I think OPM season 2 was Madhouse, but they were missing some of S1's team members and the animation was awful, like below a 5/10.

Is Mappa the one whose studio caught in fire?

One Punch Man is on my watch list. I'll add Dorohedoro, as well. Any other shows that you'd recommend?

I can see you liking Inuyashiki, which was Mappa. It's a zany action show, about an ordinary, good-hearted, middle-aged man, who is diagnosed with cancer but somehow becomes a robot. He uses his powers to fight crime. The antagonist has powers but uses them differently, as can be seen in this short, quite creepy clip:

Mob Psycho 100 is my favourite post-2015 anime. It's by Madhouse. I recommend it if you like shows focused on characters, coming of age and with some comedy throughout. Mob, a teenager with psychic powers, is into self-improvement and being a better person, in his own way. The adult character, Reigen, is a dodgy entrepreneur running a psychic business, despite having no psychic powers of his own. It has visually brilliant, very dynamic action in parts. It's made by the One Punch Man mangaka.

Asobi Asobase for outlandish, sometimes rude comedy. You can see a clip or two on youtube to get an idea.

This is MAPPA. I like the rock band who did the opening (which is how I found out about the anime, when the song autoplayed).
It's an isekai, but the MC is female. Hardly see her face in the trailer. edit: actually, you don't see her face
