Doesn't seem like anything special. He's just shown reaction to it and then dodging it.
And you still haven't responded me: How can Yamcha amplify his power if he doesn't even know what's Ki yet? They can definitely suppress to some degree, but amplified attacks are still astonishing by this point.
Chapter: 14, P8.1-2
Gyuumao: “H-h-here it comes! Lord Muten Roshi’s ‘Kamehameha’!”
Puar: “In-incredible! Lord Yamcha, what the heck is the ‘Kamehameha’…?!”
Yamcha: “The ‘Kamehameha’…! It’s Muten Roshi’s grand technique, which is said to condense the latent energy within his b-body, and fire it out in one burst…! To think that I’d be able to see it with my own eyes…!”
According to Yamcha, condensing your own energy into one burst is something he never even believed he would see one day. That implies not even the Kamehameha itself is amplified, so the Wolf Fang Fist definitely isn't. The main difference here is the type of attack. The Wolf Fang fist is a quick sequence of devastating attacks, the Kamehameha is pure energy fired in one swift blast. It's like comparing a punch, a sequence of hits on vital points and fire. Even if they all have the same mechanical energy, it's gonna do a completely different type of damage.
