I give it to Piccolo. He’s relative to a greatly powered up Gohan.

17 and/or 18 vs Kefla would be a more interesting match. Not sure how strong they are exactly besides maybe > ToP 17.

Was Piccolo ever stated to be equal to Gohan, or simply that he also powered up greatly? Those are two very different things.

It was said both Gohan and Piccolo had become unrecognizable based on the training they had done.

We know Gohan was definitely noticeably stronger (Shimorkka: "7-3, that guy is stronger. Switch to him!"), but I could see Piccolo being above Gohan prior to the training.

With that said, I'd give it to Piccolo.

I have Ultimate Gohan between Goku PSSJB Pseudo Kaioken and Vegeta SSJBE (ToP).

Ultimate Gohan was clearly superior to Piccolo, but he was in the same league.

I say Piccolo wins easily.

Well Piccolo could sync his movements with Gohan, though as EV pointed out he’s definitely weaker. It’s like the gap Kuririn and Gohan had most of their time on Namek I’d think.

Piccolo's gains are insane. And I thought Piccolo going from considerably weaker than Namek Base Goku to somewhat close to the Android arc SSJs after three years was crazy.

And he went from being very inferior to Ultimate Gohan to being not too far from the SSJ (Post God) level just by meditating for 3 days.

The thought of Piccolo surpassing ToP Hit and Kefla by training on Earth with no God Ki experience is laughable but it's Super writing. I give it to Pickles.

After rereading I'd give it to Piccolo. Even if he's not on Gohan's level, he's not portrayed as being far off, and Gohan was dramatically stronger than he was during ToP. Piccolo wins pretty easily.
