Yeah, this is one of the problems with the movies. Either you can do Genki-Dama or do a non-canon transformation (Movie 4 & even that didn't end the fight) or Kaio-Ken x????. They most likely could have gone with non-canon transformation in hind-sight.

SSJ Broly is stated to be beyond SSJ Goku. Majin Vegeta equals Ssj Goku. So Majin Vegeta cannot be superior to Broly.
Possibly, SSJ2 Gohan could hold his own against him. So, he is getting defeated by high SSJ2 standards.
Broly is always nerfed, I don't see the correlation.
He was defeated because Koyama left the Z Fighters live another day. He made him purposefully lose.
That's what happens in every movie. This doesn't somehow power Broly up, he was still defeated by weak fighters.
Except is an established rule made in Broly's case. Unless you've valid evidence to prove it wrong or either case being the same as Broly, is a flimsy reasoning it best. Burden of proof on this case relies on you proving how Broly is not limited by the script.

He can't be though. No amount of Super Saiyan 2s can beat Fat Buu. One Super Saiyan 2 beat Broly.
Broly should rival one Buu from Koyama's opinion which is at least more reasonable than having him stronger than Vegetto, and at least not making Broly much weaker to contradict all of Koyama's opinions of Broly.

Innocent Buu is temporary to me. The restored Mr. Buu is at least as strong as his pre-fission self I think now. I think Koyama would be referring to a stable version of Buu.
