I got to thinking that maybe Tenshinhan (BoZ) could even be superior to Kamisama, because in the Manga he is seen training alone, while he faces Krillin vs Mr. Popo and Chaoz vs Yamcha (they faced fighters from the same league).Judging Mr. Popo compared to Tenshinhan is difficult when there's already grounds to argue whether or not 23rd TB Tenshinhan had approached his level and all we saw from him compared to the BoZ humans is him casually blocking Kuririn's attacks. Considering what official sources comment on it suggest a significant increase in Ten's power in those 5 years, he may be able to take it alone, and definitely ought to win with Kuririn's help.
I wouldn't say that really suggests a vast increase in power. Tenshinhan had already far surpassed Yamcha and Kuririn 5 years prior and Kuririn definitely hadn't caught up yet.I got to thinking that maybe Tenshinhan (BoZ) could even be superior to Kamisama, because in the Manga he is seen training alone, while he faces Krillin vs Mr. Popo and Chaoz vs Yamcha (they faced fighters from the same league).
Roshi was also in disbelief at Kuririn having surpassed him during the same scene despite admitting it at the 23rd TB, so this is probably just an inconsistency. On top of that, all they knew about the scouter numbers was that they measured who was the stronger fighter and had no basis of how 23rd TB Piccolo would be ranked on it. They also already knew that Piccolo helping Goku against was more beneficial than them doing the same, so at best Kuririn was being overly optimistic and not thinking reasonably.Krillin also had little hope of saving Gohan from Piccolo, until he realized that Piccolo had a fighting level of 329.
I wanted to say that Krillin was confident that the Humans could defeat Piccolo should he maintain his power after TB23. In which case they would have to trust Tenshinan to use the Kikoho. Would Tenshinhan be on Goku's level (at the start of the fight against Piccolo)?
