Teen Gohan said that he needed the energy that he displayed at the Cell Games to win this bout'. Implying Super Saiyan 2 or his battle power during his final push against Super Perfect Cell. That said, Kid Gohan gets destroyed fairly easily. Needless to say, Teen Gohan didn't seem certain that his battle power during the Cell Games was adequate in ensuring a victory, but Majin Vegeta felt that he and Goku had long surpassed Initial Fat Boo, widening the gap between two fighters as dictated from the established norm.
