If it's no-holds-barred, Mustang stomps. Flame Alchemy is shown to be so OP even Father considered it a threat and can easily kill those with high-level regeneration.

If everyone is in character and therefore no killing though, the Elrics likely win. For what the Omake chapters are worth, one from volume 3 (I believe, could be wrong on the number) presents Mustang and Ed as roughly equal in terms of physical capability. Taking into account the Elrics' teamwork and Mustang needing to be careful in how he uses Flame Alchemy, Roy's not standing much of a chance.

I guess the natural duo of the Elric brothers GASLIGHTED me into believing that was the case.

I doubt it'd change anything. If anything, it gives the team an even bigger advantage in the second scenario I presented since Armstrong has shown himself to be amongst the physically strongest characters in the series during his battle with Sloth.
