What is Goku's definition of "handle"? Can he easily put out Kaioken x10 when he first landed on Namek? Would it be comparable to Kaioken x2 in the Saiyan arc?
He couldn't exactly "handle" the 3x Kaio-ken in the battle on Earth so I'm assuming he feels he can take it better than he could take the 3x KK back then. The fact that going above 10x even post-Ginyu Zenkai fucked up his body makes it hard to believe he could handle it as well as 2x though.
Goku didn't even consider using Kaioken x3 until it was clear he was outmatched against Vegeta, and he wasn't sure his body would handle it. Meanwhile he is immediately confident that he can handle the Kaioken x10 after testing his strength, so I think he can handle it better than the x3 back in the Saiyan saga.
Considering how he wasn't finding it easy to use x10 against Freeza after having had a Zenkai, I doubt he could handle it any better than he did x3 against Vegeta, if even that.
I don't know how much Goku was using Kaio-Ken since he didn't have his aura, but I'm thinking it was something like x2 in the Saiyan Saga. He could only use double his KK limit in a quick burst that wrecked his body.
I always took what he said literally as fuck. Haven’t read/watched DB in a while but if I remember right King Kai said if your body isn’t strong enough to handle the boost it could kill you. That’s why he told him not to go over X amount of times during his fight with Vegeta.
