Oda plans to end One Piece in 5 years

So I've got this (trustworthy) information that the biggest OP YT channel went to Oda's house and had an interview with him there (interview that is obviously not available on YT). There, Oda revealed some details related to the plot and shed light on how many years he intends OP to go -- 5 years.

In the interview, it was asked a bunch of things, in which we have:

-- The YouTuber group asking whether Zoro's master was a revolutionary, with the answer being hidden, made unavailable.

-- Oda states that Kuma had the intention to send the straw hats to the islands they ended up in, that is, he didn't randomly teleported them to random places.

-- The new movie has a revelation about the last Island, Laftel, that will spawn discussions among the fanbase.

-- Oda hasn't drawn Laftel in the map mentioned by Crokus.

-- It was asked whether Oden, Daifuku and Katakuri are also Kaido's sons, and Oda said that no, they aren't the kids of -- and for some reason the name of who he was referring too was hidden, although it's pretty obviously Kaido.

And, like I mentioned, when asked when OP is likely ending, he said he plans to wrap it up in 5 years.

Thoughts about this? I couldn't link it up since I've only found the interview and site sharing it in Portuguese only, but I can guarantee that informations provided by such source are totally reliable.

5 years would seem reasonable if not for the abysmal pacing of the past few arcs, meaning the ones following Wano will probably seem a tad rushed. Hopefully, the series reaches its endgame within that time, as that's really the only reason to be invested in it now.

5 years would be more or less 200 chapters if my math isn't screwed. 200 chapters ago (which was 5 years ago, more or less), we were in the middle of the plot in Dressrosa, with Zoro beginning his fight against Pica and Luffy and Law heading to the fight against Mingo. It seems few things were expanded upon and shed light into from there to now, so if he intends to end it in five years, this arc ought to be packing lots of revelations that would help advancing the plot. Either that, lr we'll have a rushing ending, with Luffy asspulling a huge power, defeating this current situation and heading to one of his final confrontations, as BB has to be properly introducced, Akainu, etc...

I think the crew is also likely going to Elbaf. Have a strong feeling that there'll be an Elbaf arc.

Considering that seems to be the case now with Wano, I wouldn't expect anything better at this point, tbh.

They will, though I doubt it'll be more than a Zou situation of leading directly into the final arc if Oda's set on sticking to this 5 year estimate.

Who is this trustworthy source? How does he know where he lives and why would he be allowed in?

If the series really is ending then sad. 5 years can go by so fast.

I don't trust any source unless there is evidence.

5 years is not nearly enough at the current pace.

I have made notice that the only source I could find was in Portuguese, hence not linking it. But I can guarantee it's trustworthy. The biggest Portuguese site has posted such interview on their opening page, also referred to by the most influential YT here in my country.

5 arcs from the end maybe, but not five years.

But hell who knows what the last chapters events effect will have on the world stage.

In another five years it'll be the same thing. One Piece will end when production of manga as a whole does.

It won’t be 5 years.

It might not be, as Oda has been pretty off in some of his estimations before, such as initially planning to kill Ace in 2001, also initially predicting the Wano arc to begin in 2016, while It started in 2018 iirc.

But It fits with Oda stating a while ago that OP has reached 70% of its whole story, methinks.

He said he wants to end it in 5 years. Nothing definitive.
