Injured Gohan is on his last legs. Bro is KO’d on the floor. He goes Oozaru and is clearly stronger and at least just as fast as Vegeta, who was strong enough to dog walk Yajirobe who should be around 1,000.

This definitively proves the Oozaru provided no speed boost is false.

Imo bulky transformations that still increase speed like Oozaru and Grade 2 have disproportionately low speed in comparison to their power. When you observe Vegeta's fight with Semi Cell you notice he relies much more on heavy-hitting single attacks rather than barrages of attacks that he frequently employed in his previous forms. And Grade 2 having slower speed than its power can provide a (admittedly not flawless) explanation for why it was viewed as an obsolete form.

This is one of the cases where I don't think speed = power, for Vegeta's case. Vegeta might have Yajirobe + level power, but he wasn't even capable of flying away when Oozaru Gohan was falling on him. I think his speed is gone.

He's just comparing his transformation to Saiyans. You are seeing things being implied that aren't there.

We already have an Oozaru who increased his speed over his humanoid form. That's not up for debate anymore.

Nowhere is it explicitly stated it has such a weakness. This is a fan theory that has gotten out of control and developed further.

The only reason this idea exists is because I've never really looked into the Saiyan Saga. I would have ended this thing years ago if I had known it was such a debate.

Paragus specifically said ugoki ga nibui Oozaru no henshin which translates to "the giant monkey transformation with dull movement," which is basically calling it slow and uncoordinated.
